Islamabad rocked by powerful 6.3 magnitude earthquake

ISLAMABAD: Earthquake of 6.3 points of the affected parts of Islamabad on Sunday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

The epicenter was located in Tajikistan, with depth of 150 kilometers and coordinates of 69.65 east and 38.65 north.

However, other sources, including the USGS and the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center, reported a lower magnitude. of 4.4 and 4.1 respectively.

There were no casualties, the tremors were felt by residents and journalists. in capital city.

Social media showed houses shaking and light rebar swayed during an earthquake. The stunned residents later gathered in streets.
