Islamabad police clarifies video footage of police presence outside Imran Banigal Residence – Pakistan

Islamabad Police on Sunday released a clarification regarding the “viral video” that linked the presence of police outside Residence of PTI Chairman Imran Khan in Banigala with supposed plans to arrest his.

Capital city the police, via their Twitter account, rejected the idea and clarified that a large police presence outside Imran’s residence was supposed to disperse a protest staged by teachers from Punjab, where PTI is located. back in power.

The police said:wrong information”spread among public via video and requested people refrain from spreading such information without verification.

Islamabad Police also asked the provincial governments resolve such questions at their level.

On Tuesday, teachers’ and employees’ associations threatened to hold a protest. outside Imran’s residence on 11th August against appointment of executive director of the district education department.

The protesters carried banners and chanted slogans. against Punjab government and demanded to withdraw decision of appointment new Company director.

Protest leaders said teachers and clerks will continue to sit in front of CEO office if not for their demands met and after Ashura all teachers and staff of Rawalpindi district to stage protest in Banigala.
