Iraq unveils Development Path project in the midst of 10 nations

Today, Saturday, Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani announced the Development Road project, which stretches from the extreme south of Iraq to Turkey.

Al-Sudani said in his speech at the opening of the Development Path Conference: “The Development Path, with its working platforms, added value of national and local results, and economic leverage, represents an ambitious and thoughtful plan to change reality towards a solid economic structure.”

He added: “This project is the backbone of a sustainable non-oil economy and a link that serves Iraq’s neighbors and the entire region.”

Al Sudani pointed out that “Fao Great Port in Basra Province has come a long way to completion and it will be the gateway to this important economic movement and urban cities will be integrated with the port, next to which we will build the region’s and the world’s latest smart industrial city.” , which will mimic the current and expected technological development for the next fifty years.”

And he continued: “Iraq will launch this promising economic partnership project with neighboring countries and the region, which will make our countries an exporter of modern industry and goods, and in all this we will rely on multimodal corridors, more than (1200) km of railways, their joint compatibility and highways.

The Development Path Conference kicked off today, Saturday, with the participation of Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the Emirates and Oman.
