Interior Minister Rana Sanaulla on Friday announced suppression against those who denigrate people with pornographic and “immoral” videos on social media.
In a statement minister said that those who spread immoral content on social media will be arrested.
” prime minister ordered not to tolerate this material. We will not allow social media be used to humiliate people,” he said.
Sanaulla added what elements are involved in such criminal activities will be carried out with iron fists. decision was also taken to prevent people from blackmailing others, he added.
“Instruction given [the Federal Investigation Agency] FIA and related agencies in in this regard,” Sanauallah said, adding that government “will wipe out those who spread this kind of dirt”.
Ironically, just two days ago the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former prime minister Imran Khan blamed his political opponents of attraction in fifth generation war against him during an exclusive interview with actor shaan shahid on a private news channel.
During your interview on Wednesday, former the prime minister said that coalition of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) hired companies to produce ‘fake videos’ to denigrate him reputation.
