ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court on Wednesday rejected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) plea seek immediate suspension of by-elections schedule announced election commission of Pakistan on nine vacant seats in the National Assembly.

Judge Aamer Farouk heard the case and asked if there was any legal basis. for suspension of elections schedule. The commission was told that the seats were vacant, so they issued schedule- he said.
