We know that, in spite of the success in Florida, UFC presidenT Dana White aspires to move the Octagon over to the West Coast and closer to the UFC head office in Las Vega, NV. The hope, according to White is to hold the May 30 card at the UFC Pinnacle, it’s own center, however that will depend upon the Nevada State Athletic Commission re-opening the state for combat sports action.
White did state that if the UFC Pinnacle is off the table he’ll move the Octagon over to neighboring Arizona.
“If we can’t get May 30 at the Apex, it’s going to be super disappointing, but we will go somewhere else,” White stated throughout the UFC Jacksonville post- battle interview. He was then asked in Arizona would be the next option and he responded, “That’s 100 percent where I’ll go.”
