Heavy thunderstorms pose a threat during the evening

WEATHER WARNING: severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Burlington and Camden counties until 4:45 pm.

Powerful thunderstorms will affect parts of New Jersey at night hours.

Meteorologist Storm Watch Dave Curran says that there will be storms last until about 10 pm

WHAT’S NEXT: Severe storms can result in heavy rain, high winds and hail. There is also potential for tornado.

OVERNIGHT: Storms clear out and the temperature is cool. The temperature drops to minus 70s.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and warm. Humidity is decreasing. During the day, the maximum is about 87 degrees, with nighttime lows around 70. Humidity begins to increase by Wednesday morning.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny skies. Daily highs warm up to the 80s. Overnight lows cool slightly until the mid-70s.

THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy skies. Chance for thunderstorms return. Daily highs around 88 degrees. Overnight low around 74.

COMING: Temperature rise back about 90 for Friday and next week. More chances for thunderstorms Friday and early next a week.
