Has Rhea Chakraborty been thrown out from Amitabh Bachchan-Emraan Hashmi’s Chehre?

The makers of Chehre are currently on a promotional spree since the past couple of weeks. However, Rhea Chakraborty’s absence from director Rumy Jafry’s upcoming thriller has been making a lot of noise on social media. The actress was left out from the Chehre poster release which featured Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, Annu Kapoor, Krystle D’souza, Raghubir Yadav and Bengali actor Dhritiman Chatterjee. And yet again, Rhea has gone missing from the film’s new poster. This snub has now made fans wonder if the makers have thrown Rhea out from the multi-starrer. Chehre’s lead actors, Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi, has shared the new poster of the film earlier in the day on their respective social media accounts. It featured Big B, Emraan, Krystle and Annu Kapoor. They tagged the entire film’s cast on their posts but Rhea was nowhere to be seen. In fact, even Rumy Jafry, who has said that he has been supporting Rhea ever since she was embroiled in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, didn’t tag her while revealing the new poster and the film’s teaser date, which is March 11. After looking at their social media posts, fans are now of the opinion that the makers must have removed Rhea from the film to avoid facing backlash for their upcoming film. While the makers are yet to make any official statement on snubbing Rhea, it remains to be seen if the Chehre teaser and trailer will give a glimpse of the actress somewhere in between the scenes. A few days ago, Rumy had said that he will revive Sushant and Rhea’s film with another hero, if everything falls into right place. Though Rumy seemed skeptical about rit, he said that he will definitely sign Rhea for another project.

This incident has raised several questions on Rhea’s possible comeback to films after everything she has gone through. But it seems like, this snub has garnered more and more support for Rhea from the industry fraternity.
