Halifax bank close for a week after the human fire gun’inside branch

BUT bank where the man reportedly shot gun inside will be closed for in next a week.

Emergency services filled the Strand shopping center in Bootle around 12:25 on Monday, May 30, reportedly of a gun be fired. police cordoned off off the scene in the center as shocked employees are led away.

Eyewitnesses told police that the man shot gun in in bank branch and then made off from the stage on dark mountain bike. There were no reports of injuries and detectives have launched an investigation and extensive forensic investigations are ongoing to establish whether there was gun was fired.

Halifax supporting staff and branch will remain closed while police investigations continue. Branch opening expected next Monday, after the holiday weekend.

A Halifax Bank spokesman said: “We know of the incident that took place at our Halifax branch in Bootle today and police help with their investigations.

Perfume shop and game will be also be closed in Bottle Strand Shopping Center, with the management of the center confirms that they will update their website on hand over daily people know when they reopen.

Chief Inspector Gary O’Rourke said, “It was an incredibly reckless act that would have been extremely shocking.” for anyone to testify. Security cameras and witness interviews continue to find him. Not cash considered to have been stolen from bank during the incident.

Main inspiration Gary O’Rourke added: “If you were driving in Bootle Strand area and there is a video recorder then please review this and let us know if you see anything, especially a man on bike described. Our officers will remain on the stage outside Bootle mall while extensive inquiries are underway out and calm the local community so please come and talk to them and let us know if you have information which could help our investigation.

“There is no place for weapons and those who use them on our streets, please tell us What are you know as well as help us put a man responsible before the courts.”
