ISLAMABAD: Federal Cabinet on Wednesday decided to withdraw treatment review petitions filed against Judge Qazi Faez Isa of The Supreme Court, noting that the action was taken by the previous government through “an unfair use of authority”.

federal cabinet also approved the Law on Interstate Commercial Transactions-2022 sent by the Ministry of “Law and Justice” and recommended that it be submitted to the relevant parliamentary committee. The Cabinet was previously informed that the proposed law would help increase confidence of foreign investors and increase foreign investment in country. The law would also be useful in in government-to-government (G2G) development agreements.
