Meet the Cast

Before you start watching the new season, let’s take a look at the cast and character guide for Good Omens Season 2:

Michael Sheen as Aziraphale

Michael Sheen plays the Aziraphale, an angel who resides on Earth and serves as an envoy between Heaven and Earth. In the first season, he ultimately decides to work with the demon Crowley to stop the Apocalypse and prevent the coming of the Antichrist. In Season 2, the appearance of the Archangel Gabriel in Aziraphale’s rare book shop kicks off an intriguing mystery.

David Tennant as Crowley

Crowley is a demon who acts as Hell’s emissary, now resident on Earth. David Tennant plays the character of Crowley, who is essentially Aziraphale’s counterpart on the other side of the veil. Because he was the serpent that tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden, he has been a resident of this planet ever since it was created.

Jon Hamm as Gabriel

Gabriel, Aziraphale’s boss and the overseer of all heavenly powers from Heaven, is portrayed by Jon Hamm, who also plays the role. This archangel, who always appears to be dressed nicely, is firm in his beliefs. It is tasked with seeing that Armageddon begins at the exact minute it is scheduled to.

Quelin Sepulveda as Muriel

The actress Quelin Sepulveda plays the part of Muriel, an angel who the actress describes as “innocent and inquisitive.” Muriel has been toiling away in the same dull office job for the past 6,000 years and wishes she could break free of it.

Maggie Service as Maggie

Maggie Service, previously known for her portrayal of the evil nun Sister Theresa Garrulous in the first season of Good Omens, now takes on the role of a woman just referred to as Maggie in the show’s second season.

Nina Sosanya as Nina

Nina Sosanya, who previously appeared as Sister Mary Loquacious in Season 1, plays the lead role of the series’ newest character, Nina. In the newly released season, Nina is depicted as the proprietor of a coffee shop, and her establishment can be found in Soho, in close proximity to Aziraphale’s.

Shelley Conn as Beelzebub

In the second season of Good Omens, the part of Beelzebub is played by Shelley Conn instead of Anna Maxwell Martin, who originated the role in the first season.

Miranda Richardson as Shax

Shax is a new demon who takes over Crowley’s position in Hell after Crowley is kicked out of his job. Miranda Richardson plays the role of Shax.

Gloria Obianyo as Uriel
