Former Sindh governor Ishratul Ebad called on President Alvi help evolve national unity

KARACHI: Former Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan on A telephone conversation took place on Tuesday with President Dr. Arif Alvi.

In the phone call, the two leaders discussed current political situation of countries, the sources said.

former Governor of Sindh Province and leader of MMK-Pakistan advised President Alvi play his role for national unity in a tense political situation in in
the country. He also proposed by President Arif Alvi for conducting grand dialogue uniting all political parties on one Platform.

“The presidential house is a symbol of unity,” he said to Alvi and urged him play his due role for national unity.

Both leaders also agreed on preservation national institutions away from current political discourse in countries, the sources said.

Here it can be noted that former governor of Sindh is currently based in UAE and meetings and telephone conversations were held with various political
leaders in recent times.

Back in January this year, former Governor of Ishratul Ebad and Sindh minister Nasir Shah discussed local government jurisprudence and other issues in telephone conversation.

” government of Sindh should strengthen local government system with improvement in institutions and provision of funds,” he suggested. “I hope Sindh government we will review amendments in local council law and try to improve it,” he said.
