Flight operations continue as usual

KARACHI: Despite the great power accident in Karachi, flights at Jinnah Karachi International Airport continue as normal, ARY News reported citing sources.

Following the big power breakdown, all areas of Jinnah Karachi International Airport has been relocated on Generators and process of landing and check-in is also underway.

Sources dedicated to development said extra lights were on off at the airport to save energy and ensure continued operation.

Karachi hit hard power accident on Thursday morning in stuffy weather because the extra high voltage (EHT) line tripped and affected power supply in metropolis.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for KE – in on Twitter – said: “There are messages of multiple disconnects from different parts of in city. We are investigating issue and save it space posted”.
