Human who died after the alleged incident in Johnston was named local.
Robbie McDowell, 40, was announced dead at the scene after emergency services pulled into McDowell Street in city around 1:50 am on Wednesday, June 1st.
A 59-year- the old woman was also taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with serious injury. Her condition is assessed as stable.
A 28-year- the old man has already been arrested in connection with in death and serious injury.

Robbie death It has left his family and friends are completely devastated.
His heartbroken cousin took facebook for payment tribute.
She said, “I can’t believe this happened to Robbie.
“You were the one best and the funniest guy. Shouldn’t have ended way It was.
“Me, my mom and sisters are devastated but grateful for the time we got to spend with you. Rest in peace because I love you xx.”
One friend commented, “So sorry to hear that. Robbie was a great guy too. I’ve known him since elementary school.”
Another said: “I’m sorry for you lose. I’m used to hanging out with Robbie when I was younger. He was a good guy.”
Meanwhile, one friend added: Rest in peace, Robbie, bro. You were one in million, absolutely gutted.”
Police Scotland had previously confirmed that the man had been arrested. in connection with alleged incident.
The rep said: “28-yearthe old man was arrested in connection with in death of human in Johnston and serious injury of woman.
“The incident happened around 01:50. on Wednesday 1 June 2022 in McDowell Street, Johnston.
“A man of 40 years old was ascertained dead at the scene and 59-year- the old woman was taken to QEUH with serious injury.”
