Fauci says U.S. has 2,226 coronavirus cases but hasn’t yet ‘reached peak’ of outbreak

The leading U.S. contagious illness professional stated on Saturday that the nation has recorded 2,226 cases of the coronavirus, but has not yet reached the peak of the outbreak.

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci stated President Donald Trump’s statement on Friday of a national emergency situation implied “now it’s all systems go” to increase screening in efforts to include the pandemic.
