Fatal Fire Claims the Lives of Two Schoolchildren in Omsk Region

OMSK, May 6 – Two boys, 13 and 14 years old, were burned in a fire that occurred in the morning in the Omsk region, the News Agency told the press service of SUSK RF in the Omsk region.
The fire started on May 6 at about 5.00 (2.00 Moscow time). A private house on Kirov Street in the city of Naziviysk, Omsk Region, caught fire.
As Larisa Boldinova, senior assistant to the head of the SUSK RF department for the Omsk region, told the News Agency, one of the dead boys waited until his mother left for work and invited about 10 friends of her friends to a party. Among them were 18-year-old boys. The company may have been drinking alcohol. A lot of chargers for phones were found in breaks in the house, so the fire could have previously been caused by a short circuit. After the accident, the schoolchildren’s friends fled their homes.
“While extinguishing the fire in the house, the bodies of two boys, 14 and 13 years old, were found. Investigators and forensic specialists have left for the scene of the accident to inspect the house and interrogate eyewitnesses. During the investigation all circumstances will be determined. The causes of the fire and the death of the children will be established, ”- reported in the press service .
The necessary examinations were determined to determine the causes and circumstances of the fire and the death of children.
Sosk of the Russian Federation in the Omsk region initiated a criminal case under the article “Execution of two or more persons by negligence”.
