Eric Adams dating with senior NYPD leadership to discuss growth crime

Mayor Eric Adams met with 77 NYPD chiefs and other dignitaries to discuss ways to stop cityx on Saturday rising high tide of crime forthcoming of summer.

Adams emphasized that need for police be more involved with in public and local communities, telling commanders should know school principals and in charge of homeless services or other agencies in their area, according to sources at the meeting.

“I need everyone buy in”, he told the crowd at One Police Plaza.

Adams also expressed support for Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell, who attended the meeting, saying, “As long as I’m mayor, she’ll be my police commissioner,” according to one attendee.

He walked around the room and asked the commanders for their input.
