Moscow, May 7 – Ukrainian forces fired three 155-mm NATO shells at the Petrovsky district of Donetsk and four 152-mm shells at the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka. “Fish from the VFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine – Ed.) was recorded in the following directions: 07:20 – Maksimilianovka settlement – Donetsk city (Petrovsky district): three 155-mm shells were fired; 07:20 – Shcherbinovka settlement – Gorlovka settlement ( Nikitovsky area): Four 152 mm shells were fired.
NATO countries use 155 mm artillery. The United States supplied Ukraine with long-range 155-mm howitzers M777, and Ukrainian forces actively use them for shelling the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German self-propelled guns PzH 2000, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns with shells of this caliber.
