DOJ points to likely roadblock in Investigation of Documents at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago

WASHINGTON. The Justice Department said “efforts were likely made to obstruct the government’s investigation” of documents in former Mar-a-Lago President Donald Trump home months before the FBI raided the Florida estate in beginning of August.

Late Tuesday evening, the court filed a motion objecting to Mr. Trump’s proposal that the seized documents be verified by a third party.party referee put out in government most detailed timeline of in events which led to an unprecedented search of premises, in which the investigators said they found records in places other than the pantry, where Mr. Trump’s lawyers assured them that everyone was being held.
