DMC expresses concern over petrol price to travel on foot

KARACHI:

Representative of the Muttahid Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Friday expressed concern over growth in Prices of petroleum products by 30 rupees per liter, stating that this increase was a burden on in people.

“These people crushed in mill of inflation day by day,” said a spokesman in statement. “In such a situation, a further increase in price is tantamount to dropping firebombs.”

An MQM-P spokesman said the recent surge of inflation will further reduce per capita income in Pakistan, which will push more people below poverty line.
