Dice is working to resolve Battlefield 2042 server issues
Problems occurred after last set major update

“We are aware that many of you are getting an error message when loading a server, and then are taken back to the main menu,” the developer wrote on Twitter.
“Unable to load ‘Persistence Data’ is a connection problem on our end. We are working on it, for now you can press Retry to join a server.”
The third major update for the game was released earlier today. Update 3 adds new Rush layouts, new Builder templates and a Vehicle Team Deathmatch mode, as well as fixes a lot of minor issues and the rendering and audio have been improved.
