Coronavirus: Firms need up to three weeks to exit lockdown, government warned

The government is being warned that companies will need up to three weeks to resume activity as soon as the coronavirus lockdown is reduced.

The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) prompted ministers to preserve financial assistance and provide clear guidelines in the coming days, to provide firms time to prepare themselves as supply chains stay limp and personnel far from the office.
