UFC light-weight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov passed away after suffering heart issues and complications stemming from coronavirus. Nurmagomedov was a huge part of his son’s life and fighting career. The outpouring of love from other fighters and fans shows how much he has touched those around him. One man who took to Twitter to express his condolences was Nurmagomedov’s former opponent, Conor McGregor.

“The loss of a father, a coach, and a dedicated supporter of the sport,” McGregor wrote. “Condolences and rest in peace Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.“
