Main of Army Headquarters (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir on Wednesday visited the mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, to pay tribute to the founder of the nation, military said in statement.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Munir laid a wreath and proposed destiny.
The COAS later visited the corps headquarters in Karachi. He was informed on operation, safety and other issues of formation, including civil administration assistance during a recent natural disaster in Sindh, especially inner Sindh.
According to ISPR, General Munir praised the army and ranger units. for operational readiness and for achievement out to people of Sindh during recent unprecedented floods in country.

The army commander praised the formation, allied organizations and law enforcement agencies for maintaining a safe and secure environment in province, especially metropolitan area city of Karachi.
Previously, on arrival in Karachi, COAS was received by the commander of the Karachi Corps, Lieutenant General Muhammad Saeed.
