Co-Pilot North Carolina death: Federal officials are investigating death of second pilot who got off the plane in midair near Raleigh

Around 2:40 pm ET, a CASA CN-212 Aviocar twin-engine aircraft landed. in grass at Raleigh-Durham International Airport, the Federal Aviation Administration told CNN. in statement.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the incident.
