Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Staff Committee (JCSC) General Nadeem Raza on Monday said “unnecessary and unfounded views” on Pakistan nuclear program should should be avoided adding that Pakistan is responsible nuclear power.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), his comments were made during a presentation at a seminar. on “Regional Environment and Imperatives of Security” at the NUST Institute of Political Studies (NIPS) in Islamabad.

Commenting on regional Security Environment General Raza, who is also vice-chairman of The National Command (NCA) confirmed the importance of Pakistan’s nuclear potential as a guarantor of containment and protection of Pakistan.
