Civil-military top brass vows to protect country’s sovereignty at all costs

ISLAMABAD: A top-level conference held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday examined external and internal security scenario and revealed the resolve that sovereignty of the nation would be secured at all costs.

The conference was gone to by high-rank authorities, consisting of Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Personnel Committee General (CJCSC) Nadeem Raza, Chief of Army Personnel (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Naval Personnel Admiral (CNSA) Zafar Mahmood Abbasi, Chief of Air Personnel Air Chief (CASAC) Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan and Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (DG ISI) Lt Gen Faiz Hamid.

The individuals concurred that Pakistan thinks in serene co-existence with its neighbours. The “will and capacity” to protect the people and territorial stability were likewise revealed.

Voicing major issue over the continued human rights infractions by Indian forces in ccupied Kashmir, the conference advised the international neighborhood to take notification.
