Experts Reveal How to Charge an iPhone Four Times Faster
Although it takes four hours to charge an iPhone from zero to 100%, experts have identified a tweak in the settings that can cut that time by more than half.
In detail, tech experts, including those from the Verizon network in the US, have explained a simple modification that will allow your smartphone to run four times faster, and the battery can reach 90% in just an hour and a half.
And the chip in the settings is just when charging, switch to flight mode.
Airplane mode
When your phone is in flight mode, it stops using cellular, Bluetooth, radio, and Wi-Fi features that constantly drain your battery in the background.
All wireless communication protocols are disabled after the flight mode is enabled, which is required by passengers on board the aircraft.
For iOS users, Airplane Mode is found in the main menu of the Settings app.
Once you open Settings, this feature will be visible at the top. As the Daily Mail reports, once you activate Airplane Mode, scroll down to Battery in Settings and turn on Low Battery Mode, which will also increase your charging speed.
Charging speed up to 35W.
Apple is set to release a new iPhone 15 next month that is rumored to support up to 35W charging speeds — much faster than its predecessor, the iPhone 14, which only had 20W charging speeds.
This means that the future smartphone can be charged from zero to 100% in just one hour, saving users precious time if they are in a hurry.
The news was reported by 9to5Mac, though it’s not clear if all iPhone 15 models will support 35W charging.
35W indicates how much power is delivered to the phone’s battery, but if the phone doesn’t support charging speed, it won’t be able to charge faster and will waste power.
