Big VVK bench formed to hear a case of contempt of court against Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has five members bench hear contempt of a court case against former prime minister and Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, ARY News reported. on Saturday.

According to the details, the case of contempt of court will be considered by the Islamabad High Court. of a court case against in former prime minister for allegedly making controversial remarks about the Women’s Tribunal Judge Zeba Chaudhry.

The more bench will be chaired by IHC Chief Judge Athar Minallah. it also includes Judge Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, Judge Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb, Judge Babar Sattar and Judge Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri.

Previously on On 23 August, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) ruled show-cause notification to Imran Khan after acceptance up contempt of trial against his for allegedly threatened the judge of additional hearings, Zeba Chaudhry.

Court Summons Imran Khan in personal ability on August 31 and forwarded the case to the chief judge. of Pakistan seeking inclusion of more judges on in bench.
