LAHORE: Ali Bilal, also known as Zil-i-Shah, supporter of opposition Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party who died, reportedly in in police custody, in Lahore Wednesday was in fact was brutally attacked before he passed away, as confirmed by reports citing sources.

He said it was a shameful act that the caretaker government unleashed cruelty on unarmed party workers arriving for a planned election rally.
“Pakistan in grip of bloodthirsty criminals. We will file cases against [provincial police chief], [head of Lahore police] and others for V murder” Khan said.
In another tweet he posted video of Bilal sitting inside prison van. “So he was killed during in police custody is such a homicidal inclination of the current regime and the Punjab police,” he lamented.
Meanwhile, the United Nations has called for incident investigation.
Farhan Haq, Press Secretary for Secretary General António Guterres, in a statement emphasizing that people have the right to peaceful protest, and those who committed violence against demonstrators should be responsible.
Guterres also filed an appeal for calmness and restraint to relieve tension in V region.
