“Today we told ECP that it is their responsibility to people of Pakistan, it is their constitutional duty to publish this report (on PTI funds) and take appropriate action,” Abbasi said, speaking to media after meeting with members of the ECP, including Chief Electoral Commissioner Sikander Sultan Raj, in Islamabad.

The PML-N leader said that the delegation also reported to the EXP that it is peoplecorrect that the report was published with them.

The Prohibited Funding Case, formerly known as the Foreign Funding Case, was filed by Akbar S. Babar and has been pending since November 14, 2014. Babar, who was one of the founders of PTI but no longer affiliated with it’s supposedly serious financial violations in in party funding from Pakistan and abroad.

ESP reserved its verdict in happening last month.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif last week also urged the ECP to announce its decision on protracted business. He again raised the alarm over delay in judgment yesterday.

Along the same lines, Abbasi also highlighted the delay in conclusion of a business in his press secretary today and said:justice requires immediate action in accordance with the law and due process whenever issue”.

At the meeting with Members of the ETUC, continued Abbasi, “We said that the electoral law in country declares that any party receiving funding from a foreigner must declare who gave him money when and how a lot of.

“And no party has the right to receive financing from a foreign company.”

He asked if Imran had sold his decisions” taking money from foreign entities.

former prime minister said that Babar introduced “clear proof” in case eight years ago when he first surfaced.

Since then, PTI has tried in every possible way to interfere with the case, he argued and accused party of attaching “government pressure” on ECP during her tenure as well as “political pressure” after she was overthrown.

Further he said, record presented in ECP at the moment in the case was not submitted to PTI, but received via National Bank of Pakistan.

“And the status of Accounts [whose record has been submitted] is also before you. PTI denied having any information of accounts when party the president kept those accounts,” Abbasi said. added.

Abbasi claimed that there were at least two companies. operating as “foreign agents” in United States, chaired by Imran Khan.

“Any money contacting these companies public record and see from whom and how a lot of imran took” he said, wondering if he was taking money in this manner was in line with Laws of Pakistan.

“You can’t take money from the company, because by doing so you become its agent. And you won’t decide in national interest, but in interest of companies and individuals behind them,” he explained. “That is why the law of our country does not allow any political party take money from a foreign company.

AT light of is, “we told ECP that record very clear and now you have to decide,” Abbasi said. “Isn’t people the right to know from whom big political party accepts money, how how long did it take and when?

Then he went on claim that a large amount of money related to this case were still abroad in personal accounts and reiterated that PTI had used all tactics to prevent litigation up by ECP.

The PML-N leader stated that the actions of PTI and Imran over in past eight years made it can be seen that “they took money from companies [abroad] and used it for politics”.

“And when you use someone’s money for politics you have to pay price. And this people who pay it price” Abbasi said.

He added that if Imran and PTI were not guilty, they would present the entire record on the very day the allegations were made and asked the ECP to resolve the matter.

But “for eight years, you hired everyone tactics save record hidden of people to fool the ECP and stop their process,” Abbasi said, adding that Imran continues “attack» ECP today because ‘he knows reality of foreign funding case.

AT reply to the question, Abbasi repeated his call for release of ESP verdict.

“If the political party is being done politics after taking money from Jewish agents or anyone otherwise we are not know who is behind these companies are people must know where did Imran get money”, he commented. “This is my issue. This is your issue. This is people’s issue”.

When asked if the ECP had given a time frame for after announcing the verdict, Abbasi said that the election observer had not given the time.

“They said they were working on is that there were obstacles in in past and that they will resolve this issue and let people know because it is their constitutional duty.”

However, PTI’s Fawad Chaudhry defended his position. party and said that Naqvi filed an affidavit with the ECP stating that “all funding is legal”.

He filed the same affidavit with PTI,” he said. added”If there is any breach, it is between Naqvi and the British authorities.”

He said that the report also “explicitly alleges” that Naqvi paid the Sharifs $20 million as a bribe.

“Check [in which the money came] announced in ECP and we have each record in audit”, former minister said.

But he went on”Let’s talk about the 20 million pounds that Nawaz and Shehbaz got in 2017. There is a report in in Financial Times on it is too. Someone ask them where the 20 million pounds they took by Arif Naqvi for K-Electric.

FT report shows that Arif Naqvi hosted dinner too for Nawaz Sharif in Switzerland. Why don’t you talk about it?”
