A man and five American Bulldogs were arrested. destroyed after a woman died after being attacked by dogs.
65-yearThe elderly woman died at the scene of in attack in home in Kirkdale, Liverpool, on Monday afternoon.
This was reported by the Merseyside police. on On Tuesday, five American Bulldogs inside the property were awarded over and since then humanely destroyed.
A 31-yearthe old man was arrested on suspicion of possession dog dangerous out of control and is currently in guardianship, force added.
The police were called to the scene house on St Brigids Crescent at Northwest Ambulance Service at 4:25 pm.
The woman has not yet been officially identified, but her next of relatives were informed and post- an autopsy will be performed out install cause of death, force said.
Detective Inspector Cathy Coote said: “This is clearly a very unfortunate incident and our thoughts with in family and friends of Woman who died.
“Our Requests remain continues as we try to establish what happened and I urge anyone who can help our requests get in touch.”
