Finnish game creator Rovio, best known for his Angry Birds franchise, on Friday reported to rise in his fourth-quarter operating profit, boosted by growth from its first three games.

“All our top three games Angry Birds 2, Angry Birds Dream Blast and Angry Birds Friends are all grown up year-on-year”, Based in Helsinki mobile game said the creator.

Rovio said he expects a strong top line growth for the year but it’s adjusted operating profit a decrease year-on-year due to investments in new games development and marketing.

Rovio is looking for growth by diversifying its portfolio, having acquired Turkish Ruby Games in August and collaborating up create new mobile games for Moomin, cartoon characters originally popular from a series of books and a comic.

“We continue our merger and acquisition efforts, aiming for build new growth roads within casual games grow our network audience and establish value through the synergies between ours game portfolio and studies, “said Rovio CEO Alex Pelletier-Normand in a declaration.

Rovio reported the underlying operating profit of 13.1 million euros for October December quarter, up about 75 percent from a year first.
