Almost 1,000 Activision Blizzard employees sign a letter supporting the sexual harassment lawsuit against the company
It seems that the case of Activision Blizzard we were talking about ago a few days continues its course. To our knowledge, some 1,000 current and former company employees have signed a letter calling the company’s responses to a recent discrimination lawsuit “abhorrent and insulting.”
This comes after the California Department of Housing and Fair Employment filed a lawsuit against Activision Blizzard alleging “sex discrimination, harassment, and retaliation,” and the company later branded the allegations as false. However, many employees have posted messages on social media in support of the lawsuit’s claims and shared their own accusations of discrimination.
«The executives of our company have affirmed that measures will be taken to protect us, but in the face of the legal actions and the worrying official responses that followed, we no longer trust that our leaders will place the safety of employees above their own interests, ”we can read in the letter. “To claim that this is a ‘truly irresponsible and meritless lawsuit’, seeing so many current and former employees talk about their own experiences with harassment and abuse, is simply unacceptable.”
