Shawn Levy, who made Stranger Things, is now in charge of the project, which is a Netflix Original Limited Series. The WWII novel that won the Pulitzer Prize is set to come out this year. Is There A Trailer for All the Light We Cannot See?

The official trailer for All the Light We Cannot See came out on April 18, giving fans of the book their first look at the problems Werner and Marie-Laure faced in their everyday lives during WWII. The trailer has no dialogue and a lot of Debussy music. It shows Marie-Laure trying to talk to her father through radio signals, but a Nazi recruit is actually listening to her message. Even though they are on different sides of the war, they both have hope for people. There are also scenes of Marie-Laure as a child, when she was close to her father. Those scenes help set the mood for how lonely the main character and her father feel because they have to be apart because of the war. Marie-Laure has to take care of herself and her uncle, who is still battling PTSD from World War I, while she waits to see her father again.

Who is the Director of All the Light We Cannot See?

Shawn Levy is the director of All the Light We Cannot See, as was already said. Levy had already worked on movies like the Night at the Museum series and Free Guy when he read Anthony Doerr’s novel and was blown away by it. But the project had already been approved for a feature film. After the film’s production stopped, the director jumped to make a new story version. He suggested making a limited series instead. The series came to life with the help of his production team at 21 Laps Entertainment.

Dan Levine is the show’s executive producer, and he and Eugene Levy worked together on Free Guy. The script was written by Steven Knight, who also created Peaky Blinders. He is also known for creating and writing other shows, such as the original Apple TV+ show See, the Hulu version of Great Expectations, and the BBC show Rogue Heroes.
