Actor Jonathan Majors Denies Wrongdoing After Arrest for Alleged Assault in New York

Jonathan Majors was arrested in New York on Saturday after he got into a fight with a 30-year-old woman. He was charged with domestic violence.

A statement from the NYPD says that the woman told officers that she had been attacked. She was taken to the hospital with “minor injuries to her head and neck.”

A person who worked for Majors denied the claims.

In a statement to Variety, a person who works for Majors said, “He hasn’t done anything wrong.” “We can’t wait to clear his name and make this right.”

According to the police statement, at 11:14 a.m., they got a call to 911.

“A preliminary investigation found that a 33-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman had a domestic dispute,” the police said. “The victim told the police she had been attacked. The 33-year-old man was taken into custody without any problems. The victim had minor injuries to her head and neck, and she was taken to a hospital, where her condition was stable.

“Strangulation,” “assault,” and “harassment” were some of the possible charges on the police report.

The actor has been in a few big studio movies in recent years. In “Creed III,” he played Damian Anderson against Michael B. Jordan, who directed the film and was also in it. He also played the Marvel villain Kang the Conquerer in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania,” which came out not too long ago. His most recent movie, “Magazine Dreams,” had its world premiere at Sundance. It has been bought by Searchlight Pictures and will be in theaters on Dec. 8. The actor has also agreed to be in “Da Understudy,” which will be made by Amazon Studios.
