Google announced that its Google VPN service will now be available to all Google One customers rather than just those with the Premium 2TB plan.

The purpose of VPN by Google One is to conceal a user’s IP address, preventing websites and apps from gathering such data for location tracking and online activity monitoring. Like any other VPN, it also protects from hackers and network administrators.

Storage capacity now serves as the main point of distinction between Google One subscriptions. 100GB of storage is provided by the free plan, while the premium plan provides 2TB. Moreover, a free tier offers 15GB of storage but no VPN access.

Google is launching a new feature that enables users to monitor their personal information on the dark web and provides VPN access to all Google One subscribers. If information such as a name, address, email, phone number, or Social Security Number is discovered, Google will notify users.

From today, all Google One subscribers will have access to VPN services, with the entry-level Google One plan costing $1.99 monthly. It will be accessible on Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac devices in 22 countries. Under the same Google One plan, up to five additional users may share VPN access.
