Numerous ambulances and police arrived in the city center tonight.
Armed police officers were seen on Commercial Road and Regent Circus along with four incident response units vehicles from the ambulance around 8:30 tonight.
Police helicopter circled over parts of Swindon including Old Town and Walcot before heading to Commercial Road.
Two police cars and four ambulances vehicles parked next to Commercial Road and Regent Circus before leaving just after 20:40.
