JDU . had won six of 38 constituencies contested in Council elections held in practice this year. MLAs who joined The BJP are Kh Joykishan, N Sanate and Md Achab Uddin, former DGP L.M. Khaute and Thangjam Arunkumar.
Mr. Khot and Mr. Arunkumar had previously sought to run for Council elections for BJP, but joined JDU after rotate down by party.
The move by MLAs comes weeks after Nitish Kumar threw the BJP and joined forces with Rashtriya Janata Dal led by Tegashwi Yadav, Congress and other parties removed the BJP from the co-pilot seat in Bihar.
