schoolgirl who died after hit in the van was named Lexie McDavid.
12-year-old, from Huiton, died after hit in a white Mercedes van when she got there off bus on Princess Drive on Tuesday, June 7th. Around 3:30 p.m., 911 was called to the scene and Lexie was taken to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, where she died shortly thereafter.
The police confirmed that driver of the van remained at the scene and continues to assist the police with incident investigation. Now they are turning for anyone who has witnessed a crash or has information about the incident to contact them.

Detective Sergeant Andy Roper of the Merseyside Police Seriously collision The investigation department said, “Our thoughts and condolences this morning are very with in family of lexi, who died tragically young age and they get support of specialist officers.
“The investigation is ongoing and we ask anyone who was a witness collision or took something on DVR or other devices and have not arrived yet forward makes it like soon as possible. Your information may be vital to our investigation. Will you come to us directly or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, all information action will be taken.”
